Natural Wool 1000 Mattress

This mattress has 1000 Pocket Springs at its core, all working like pistons, up and down as weight is applied to perfectly cradle the body and mirror its contours, which prevents pressure points from forming and promotes good posture. The springs are held within their own fabric 'pocket', which keeps them apart from each other and ensures there is no compromise on the support, each spring has a specific area to support.

Mattress Makers has hand applied deep layers of soft Wool to this mattress. Wool is an excellent material to use in mattresses as it is not only soft and luxurious but also breathable and thermoregulating. Because Wool is thermoregulating, it is able to remain cool in the summer and warm in the winter, perfect for a mattress. Wool is also very good at naturally deterring bed bugs and dust mites, which will help the mattress stay fresh throughout the years.

The Natural Wool 1000 has been tufted, which sees a cord passed through the mattress to bind the fillings and springs in place, keeping the mattress at a precise firmness level as well as increasing the durability. This is a turnable mattress, so there are handles on the sides for easy movement when required. This mattress should be turned and rotated, alternating between the two once per season (although we recommend that this process is done more often in the first few weeks after delivery).
